I think this person is a new user. So he will find it difficult to use exchange to buy tokens. I think his points plus karma should be reduced to end the strike.

That's good decision mate. As he is new user, he may face problem. Points plus Karma deduction will be soft punishment for him so that he can make himself more aware after taking lesson from it.

This is a forum court and as a forum Judge I fully trust our moderators and their opinions about strikes and any other penalties or limitations they give to members.

Moderators decisions are final and I will only review it when there is enough evidence or reasons provided.

You can ask for such review only if you have a solid reason or to ask for penalties removal in exchange for points but you haven't done this.
