Personally, I am not against regulations especially if the purpose is to protect the investing or consuming public. However, everything has to be carefully calibrated and balanced to the core so that they are not actually killing the entities they are trying to regulate. When we forget that adage that can be the start of many problems because what is happening is not anymore regulating but killing and that is so bad - using their power to constrict a fledgling industry that they never own in the first place.
