Bitcoin Sees $5,000 CME Gap Following Sunday Crash

The historic CME opening comes after a massive Sunday sell-off that was likely triggered by a dubious headline about the U.S. Treasury cracking down on financial institutions involved in cryptocurrency money laundering. Bitcoin’s hash rate recently dropping 45 percent due to blackouts in China’s Xinjiang region.

It seems like the Xinjiang blackouts gave us all a huge scare when the value of Bitcoin fell and people started talking about the big dump. Fortunately Bitcoin seems to be rebounding as is global capitalization, people who ran in circles thinking that it was the end of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies may already be calmer.
