PayPal introduces new mobile crypto payment service through its Venmo app

PayPal finally realized its plan to have clients use their a mobile payment service Venmo to to buy, sell and store digital currencies including Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin and Ethereum.
Darrell Esch, Senior Vice- President and General Manager at Venmo issued a statement:
“Crypto on Venmo is a new way for the Venmo community to start exploring the world of crypto, within the Venmo environment they trust and rely on as a key component of their everyday financial lives," and added “our goal is to provide our customers with an easy-to-use platform that simplifies the process of buying and selling cryptocurrencies and demystifies some of the common questions and misconceptions that consumers may have”.
Earlier this year PayPal also allowed its user base to pay with cryptos to all of the million online merchants the company offers its services to.
