Several U.S. lawmakers have spoken up against the cryptocurrency tax provision in the $1 trillion infrastructure bill. While the bill has been revised from last week’s version, the text is still “unworkable,” according to Senator Pat Toomey. “I plan to offer an amendment to fix it.” Other lawmakers, including Sen. Ron Wyden, Rep. Warren Davidson, and Rep. Ted Budd have also voiced concerns.

Good to see that some senators are seeing the light and will fight to make the "Infrastructure Bill" not a big burden to the fledging industry but can instead be a catalyst for more innovations and developments coming from the blockchain and cryptocurrency.
Let's hope that before the bill is approved and signed by POTUS, all concerns and heard and can be acceptable by all parties involved. This is the time for USA to lead this revolution and not just be another follower in the global scene.
