英国央行 Bank of England 公布员工工作报告称：如果发行央行数字货币 CBDC，可能对商业银行构成竞争威胁。商业银行的商业模式依赖大量低成本的零售存款，它支持了商业银行净利息收益率的高盈利，而一旦 CBDC 出现，公众可能选择 CBDC 存款，并将其视为更安全的储值工具，利用其支付和转款，运用数字钱包运营商和交易认证服务。
