 Hello mates.
I'm Hydra, from bitcointalk. How will you compare the forum and community here to  bitcointalk aside of getting higher rank easily?

I think it's good, while spam posts are still here I find them significantly less frequent than bitcointalk forums.  Ranking up is easier for sure, but it still really discourages spam of any kind, and anyone SR member or higher can reward karma or punish posters.  With enough punishes people will start to get negative karma, making them unable to participate in most bounties here.  I think the atmosphere is a lot more friendly as well.  Bitcointalk has lots of snarky people who just slam people for no reason at all, they make a mockery of the merit system there as well as people freely sell merit to others, as well as people giving merit to posts that in no way deserve merit.  I think this forum is a lot better, but it still has lots of room to grow.

There is no other way than you are always active in the forum. You can post 3-5 posts that contain questions and positive information every day. There is nothing easy here, you must always be active in constructive and positive comments in every thing or information discussed in the forum. If it is run properly then your rating or level in this forum will increase.

You must be diligent in making posts in forums, at least 3 posts every day. Although the number of posts can increase your rank easily, but it's better to make 3 posts in a day is enough. Don't make too many posts but the posts that you make are not quality.

If you compare Bitcointalk with us here at Altcointalk, I admit that Bitcointalk is a good forum and a lot of users. But I think it's good, while posting spam is still here I find them significantly less than the bitcointalk forum. If Bitcointalk is a lot of spam that is very annoying.

I just don't like the underlying condescending tone of Bitcointalk personally, at the very top it feels very clique-ish when it comes to merit and it heavily favors people who intentionally farm merit, which makes the system feel like people talking at one another instead of having a conversation. I'm not saying that I know exactly how it could be done better as far as a reward system, just pointing out what it feels like from a lower rank point of view.  I like here because I don't feel the need to farm ranks and am free to just be who I want to be without getting caught up in min-maxing the results.. since merely participating at a general level seems enough.  But either way, welcome to the community

Exactly. Spam thread are numerous in bitcointalk than here which is understandable because the forum is just new.  I am hopeful that this forum will become successfully be like bitcointalk few years from now.
