Indonesia Opens a Bitcoin House in Bali

Does anyone have any actual information about this thing and where it is located?

Aside from their Twitter account, they also have a website[1]. And from quick digging, i found out they create list of past and upcoming on eventbrite[2] where tweet shared by OP talk about event located on "Jalan Kayu Manis Kec. Kuta Utara, Bali 80351 Indonesia"[3].

So an education hub platform (Bali) introducing libraries made in containers? I think the hub is totally new as Twitter has few followers and it was made in January of 2024. So this project is pretty new and considering the efforts they are making I think they deserve more. Although the Bitcoin News channel has supported them and spread the word about them.

We need more support like these to support this as knowledge is power and without it, many people will be like donkeys, they will either work like donkeys or either don't work like donkeys. Overall, the smartest way is to work with knowledge. I can't manage to go Indonesia just to know more about it, as its a local thing for locals, I don't think foreigners are going to be there and if they are expecting then that should not.

If there government could allow this then they are not far from adoption because I believe that when this positive move is being created it's very easy for the country to accept bitcoin as a means of legal tender.
Anyway it's to educate people the more, to me I would say it's better they add it Into their scheme of work to have it as a course study or subject to teach in school with this it would allow young teenage to have vast knowledge about bitcoin and the entire cryptocurrency and blockchain itself.

BALI is an island that is well known throughout the international world, many from other countries go on holiday or do business there so that when Bitcoin digital currency technology is applied to purchase certain transactions it can make things easier for tourists who are on holiday in Bali. But they also have to understand the risks of using Bitcoin if it is used for transactions. Apart from unstable price movements, Indonesia also has no clear regulations regarding Bitcoin as a legal means of payment.

What project? In Indonesia we cannot pay for coffee and food with Bitcoin because the government strictly monitors its citizens so that they do not make transactions within the country using currencies other than IDR. So I'm sure, there would be no crypto transactions here if this was an official event.

What I am with Bitcoin Indonesia will only provide education regarding Bitcoin, so people who want to know Bitcoin can go to the Bitcoin House. That's not bad either, considering that this can also increase knowledge for people who are still curious about cryptocurrency and especially Bitcoin. I hope that the government will also start to wake up to several innovations regarding Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in the future, so that regulations can start to be a little looser.

This shows that your country is still friendly with bitcoin even as it's not legal in your country and yet you people have an open placed for Bitcoin and any other blockchain related event center. This wasn't applicability with my country and is much harder over here.
