Bitcoin ASIC aker Bitmain has Paused employee Salary Payments
Bitcoin Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) maker Bitmain has paused employee salary payments for September and beyond. The firm has cut all bonuses and incentives for its employees and is yet to pay last month's salaries according to recent local reports. Employees will also have to face a 50% cut in their basic salary apart from this. In 2013, Beijing based Bitmain was one of the largest Bitcoin mining ASIC makers in the world and during its peak it also gave 70% market share. The company's ASIC series is currently leading the industry in terms of hash rate calculations for Bitcoin mining.
