Vitalik dumping neiro and other memes while eth is still dumping

The two news are independent of each other. Vitalik Buterin selling the token does not mean that the value of Ethereum will increase, especially since we are talking about a deal of $112.5K, but it will certainly have a negative impact on Neiro.

I think it already had a good impact on the coin in the long perspective (I mean, on Neiro). We can see that by looking at the graphs and metrics of the coin before this whole ordeal and afterward.

It's that the reason why Neiro is currently declining while other altcoins are increasing to bitcoin increase.

Neiro was increasing in price a few days back; I was tempted to invest in it, but thank goodness that I didn't. By now I would have been feeling bad reading about this. But why on earth did Neiro owners give out a huge sum of their tokens to someone else who may not be in support of their project. Now, he has sold the tokens given to him for free. It will be the investors that will be at loss if peradventure Neiro experience another dump from its big investors.

I don't know why they are sending all these free coins to Vitalik when he has so many and doesn't need the money? Maybe they think that sending him these coins will boost the project but it turns out they are wrong.

Publicity, they tried the shiba way, although those guys sent those trillions of tokens thinking they are getting burned and decreasing the supply, not that he would actually use it. But it became news, it looked like and endorsement and here we are, no wonder there are so many trying to replicate the idea. And after all, it's free money, they printed those tokens it's not like it's going to cost them, if the token doesn't get traction and fades away they will lose more than this.

Neiro was increasing in price a few days back; I was tempted to invest in it, but thank goodness that I didn't. By now I would have been feeling bad reading about this.

It's down 15% on the day but if we look to a longer period like 7 days it's still up 27%, way more than the other markets.

Vitalik made a profit and all the investors who joined because Vitalik joined are at a loss now. Haha, what a tragedy BTW I was not expecting this from Vitalik but I guess nothing legally can be done against him because it was his right to buy and sell. But the thing is I don't think he received those tokens because he bought them right? Because I read the news to confirm the post but the news says that Vitalik received it from the team no talk about for how much money.

Well if he received it from the team as some kind of good gesture then he should not have sold all of them. It's not the right thing to do morally.

Overall the team even asked Vitalik to donate some money from the profit to the dog's shelter and I don't think he decided yet to donate any money (Source)

It was Shiba Inu team that did that and because of that, the coin exploded and yet he never sold for his own benefits, he gave it to Indian for covid treatment but perhaps he needed it this time and he sold.

If I'm in his position, I will sell because of what use exactly is meme if not for making profits? If he doesn't sell, some big bags will eventually sell and he wouldn't be left with no choice too or hold until it become worthless. He just showed you guys that he value ethereum more than any other coins.

Well, Vitalik did well in selling all the amount of Neiro given to him at this time of the market, the market is on the low side than selling it all at the peak of the market, causing a huge loss to investors who would have invested in Neiro at a high price. At least, the fall of Neiro's price will give investors who trusted Neiro as memecoins to accumulate additional Neiro to their portfolio. At least Neiro will bounce back in price organically without experiencing further dumps like this.

After all the buzz when he sold the Shib sent to him, I'm pretty sure the Neiro team knew he'll do the same thing. It makes me think that it was done intentionally for marketing purposes. They might have succeeded since people who never heard about this token are talking about it now.

There's a good chance they will succeed because of this move. Lots of big influencers are talking about Neiro. I see many tweets, retweets, and posts about it. This reminds me of Pepe's early days, but it might not happen the same way this time.

That's what he gains from making Ethereum available to us. He deserves to get some $NEIRO for free, and whether to sell them is his choice. So, any team sending him memecoins should be prepared for a dump. Lol

Perks of being the founder of Ethereum he got a lot of free money from other teams for using Ethereum network so I think that was a clever way for the newer team projects to be recognized though price might crash but when bullrun comes things will be different because there is a high possibility that it will go up as well as investors try to remember those coins that make history or created a noise eevn in previous years.

Yes, Shib is a good example. I think Vitalik Buterin's activities on shib increased the meme coin's popularity. Now I understand that this might be a smart way to make a token popular.

Yes, adding $112.5K to Ethereum won't help to increase its value to much extent but removing $112.5k from the market cap of Neiro could have bad impact on its value.

Agreed, the movement of meme coin prices depends on the wishes of whales who really like to use meme coins to increase the volume of assets they have. But we also have to see that the movement of altcoin prices will not dare to get out of the pattern that has been created by Bitcoin. When the price of Bitcoin collapses, the price of altcoin will also collapse, and vice versa, which ultimately makes many people trapped when traders do not understand the concept of price movements created by whales.

I agree with you, there is a saying that every coin does well during the bull market and most of the shitcoins crashes during the bearish period, this is because as bitcoin faces crash investors takes away there funds off this volatile coins as sum would dump and never come up again. Aside the bitcoin influence on coins like memes the other influence on them is holders.

People that trade memes that is the degen traders they mostly look at the volume of open interest in that coins or say the total volume and then they check the whales holding that coins, if there are. Big whales holding strong to the coin like this Neiro then it is a millions  or even billions market cap tokens

Vitalik has already done this action before when he received Shib memecoin. That time this selling news spread like fire and made Shib famous and now Neiro will also be famous like Shib but that depends on many other factors too.

Neiro's price was dumped after Viatlik's selling and now it is recovering. The price of a meme coin depends on the hype in the community if the hype is high then the chance of success is also high.
