Bitcoin may not really play much roles in El Salvador growth and development but it still added some little benefits than what dollar that the country was only spending before will add.

Although I don't know much about this guy - being not a resident of his country - but I am one of his many admirers globally and with the adoption he made for Bitcoin in El Salvador he became famous most especially in the cryptocurrency sphere. We are all wishing him success in administrating his country and I think he is doing well so far as can be seen like in the news above. So is there a correlation between Bitcoin and his success as a leader? That maybe hard to quantify and analyze but for sure Bukele is a man with a big vision for El Salvador and he is a good leader and politician so maybe people are really following him and doing their shares in the process to push the country up to progress. Let's hope more and more leaders can see the many economic benefits that adopting or legalizing Bitcoin can do to their countries as well.

El Salvador's experience was the first experience to adopt Bitcoin as a legal currency for the country. Although it is a wonderful experience as a beginning to adopt Bitcoin, it is still incomplete and very few countries are trying to follow it in this bold step.

El Salvador's troubled economic situation and the country's lack of an official fiat currency may have helped with adoption, but it faced and still faces a lot of problems on the ground, due to weak infrastructure and technical problems in addition to people's lack of adequate understanding of Bitcoin.

I dont know if anything really changed in El Salvador, but I was never there to compare how was it before and after him.
He did introduce Bitcoin and made it a legal payment option in his country but only small number of people is using it.
When I see bitcoin being accepted everywhere in El Salvador than I will congratulate Bukele.

While I do like him and the fact that he is improving his nation and he is pro-bitcoin, I also have to consider that he won with %83, which is really a big big margin, nobody was even remotely close to him, which makes me question the situation. Don't get me wrong, maybe he is liked that much and that's how he got elected by getting that many votes, but when was the last time you have seen someone get %80+ of the votes in a democratic election? Sure Putin may get that much, or Kim Jong Un, or Xi, they may get that, but not fairly. I am not well versed in El Salvador politics so maybe I am fully wrong, it just worried me to see that a bit.

Right, and I think he will continue to run for the Presidency if I'm not mistaken. So in any case he would win, then Bitcoin and crypto will thrive in El Salvador.

And the good thing is that he is really performing good as a President. But we all know that if someone is doing his job great, there will be a lot of criticism. But hopefully he will do what he thinks is best for his country, not just for Bitcoin and crypto. I think everyone hasn't heard about this President before, but his name pop up to the crypto world when he decided that his country will make Bitcoin as a legal tender. And if I'm not mistaken, it's the first for Bitcoin so it make a lot of news although not always positives as it involved politics in his country as well.

His New Ideas party is expected to win almost all of the 60 seats in the legislative body, tightening its grip on the country and bestowing even more sway on Bukele, the most powerful leader in El Salvador's modern history.

I prefer to say that Nayib Bukele is the most friendly towards Bitcoin because he was the one who succeeded in bringing Bitcoin to become legal tender in the country of El Salvador. And I am pleased with his triumphant comeback as president-elect. This is a positive signal that the bitcoin investment made by the country will continue and the bitcoin program in the country will also continue.
