Centralization, lack of security and control by a small group is a big problem with altcoins, i.e. a coin like BTC cannot be stopped by anybody, because it is secure and not controlled by anyone, if Solana can be stopped by some actors, that is enough reason for its holders to be skeptical of the coin. It is recommended to buy and use only decentralized and censorship resistant coins.

It's been some time since i read news Solana network going down. While i don't know whether Sigel's speculation is true, Solana clearly shows it's technical incompetence one more time.

Even with centralization, it could be avoided if they perform very serious software/code testing and initially run their new code/software on testnet network to find leftover bug.
