OP I know we as Nigerians have long been longing for change but the truth is that the change begins with you and me. Until we do away with that mentality of depending on government to effect change, then the country would keep drowning. Till we say no and put pressure on the government by refusing to dance to their corrupt practices then we can say we want change.

The change we glamour for is just some bold steps to ensure that what we have been anticipating is now on play. We should not wait for the government to do everything. When we decide to take a bold, that is when we would start seeing the change we want. Not until we do so, everything would remain the same way it is.

So much coming from the OP. Of course, I agree that we all have our role to play, but do you expect that same woman to sell what she invested her time on for free ?. Reality of life, let's call a spade - a spade. How can you convince suffering citizens to play good role when the government have printed trillions of naira in just less than 10years. The citizens deserves more as majority of them are hardworking, but their efforts are rendered useless due to the bad decisions of those at the top.

We pray for a better nation, at same time; we also need to work hard. When we have the necessary money to afford our personal needs, we can easily make good decisions political wise, rather than selling our vote for $0.7.

If you do the right thing as an individual and I do the right thing as an individual as well as every other person, our society will be an abode for every member of the society. You are right. You and I can make the society enjoyable for us to live in. When you do the right thing and I do the right thing, together we can develop as a society but when I do the right thing and you do the wrong thing the society will be affected and hinder development.

Although prices might not return to their previous levels, collective effort and responsibility can lead to significant improvements.
