In the society today creation of jobs is a major challenges we are experiencing in the country, less of jobs more of connections which is really affecting the economy,we have a lot of graduates without a better job,the true fact is that corruption have taken over us,your certificate to you is just a proof that truly am a certified graduate,so many graduates today are going for skills acquisition because they have no helper hands,we needs a change of government that will look into that area of providing a good and fair job opportunities.
It's disheartening to see that corruption has deeply ingrained itself in Nigeria. To achieve anything meaningful, one needs connections or must bribe their way through. I've witnessed numerous instances where highly qualified graduates, who excel in interviews, are overlooked for jobs due to lack of connections or refusal to pay bribes. Meanwhile, less qualified individuals with influential connections secure positions effortlessly.
This blatant injustice is crippling the nation. Many invest heavily in education, spending enormous amounts from kindergarten to higher institutions, only to face disappointment and uncertainty in their job search. This discourages some from pursuing education, opting instead for vocational training or entrepreneurship, fearing that their investments in education might not yield better job prospects.
Ironically, some uneducated individuals secure employment through connections with influential people, further highlighting the systemic injustice.
