Our politicians and government is thw cause of insecurity due to their greedy mindset. They allow insecurity so that they can use it to carry out their evil deeds. They make the whole system porous, and they only secure themselves. Insecurity is now becoming a business in Nigeria, because funds issued out by government to enhance and strengthen the security in Nigeria will be siphoned by the people that are suppose to secure us.

You're right because politicians has a great role to play when it comes to peace and stability of a nation any nation where by political class values political office more than solving problems and bringing the needed development to the masses using the political office that are can't make any meaningful progress and can't have peace and this is the faith of night because politicians are more concerned about what they will get in place bringing the needed devidence of democracy that is why the problem of insecurity has persisted for so long in the country

Insecurity is like a two edged sword meaning that it is not primarily influenced or controlled by one person alone it can be caused by both the government and the citizens even if the government decides today to provide jobs to all the youths after their NYSC, not everyone is willing to go to school, personally I have seen people who told be that school na Scam that they can never consider going to school for any reason, looking at that kind of people even if government provide jobs to take citizens of the street not everyone will be willing to leave the street am very much certain of that and remaining on the street they may continue with causing damage and insecurity to others citizens. Which role do you want to play when you are not allowed to carry gun to protect yourself? Or do you want to report the kidnappers to police or the Boko Haram or the unknown gun Men to police? First of all we have to asked ourselves, how we take come to this stage of live? Nigeria if I am not mistaken was one of the peaceful country in the whole world. People from the South South were hungry to go to the North and live. And those who were there in the 80s and 90s said they were sleeping outdoors in the North. And I can still vividly remember we were not using doors in our houses. We were happy to enter any river to fish, forest to farm and camps to enjoy moon light stories but all of those things have gone and they would not come back again. Who is the caused?

The politicians gave money to boys to hunt political opponents, stealing of election material and APC used Boko Haram to dis-stabilized Goodluck government so they can take over the government. Atiku used Bandits to killed Benue farmers because of his business. The killing in the North has three factors. Foreigners, and Internal Business tycoons because they don't want Nigeria to produce their own goods so they can import goods from outside. Nigeria governments can stop insecurity in the country but they will not because they are part of the plan.

We just have to play our role by being security conscious of ourselves and our environment, because that is what can guarantee our safety before thinking of the security agencies, as you have mentioned. The ordinary citizens are not permitted to carry arms and that is the law for you and there is nothing anybody can do about it but however you know you can protect yourself from the names you have mentioned, you are free to do it because life is very important and it is only one life so one must be safe and secured in other to move on with activities.

Before you blame parents and emphasize on individuals role in security in our country I think it is imperative to ascertain the reasons for insecurity in the country. Most of the insecurity issues are issues of succession, clamor to control resources and even others that are politically motivated.

Considering this issues how does parental training comes to play. In fact, the frustration in society is enough to trigger individuals into arms carrying.  The best way to tackle insecurity is for leaders to bring about the greatest happiness of the greatest number.

You have well spoken, but I would want to ask, from where did the insecurity start or emanate from? Cause, I am not sure it is from the young ones that are yet to get into the society or is it the young ones coming up from well-disciplined homes into a corrupt and insecure society that will make the change, because to me, I see them joining what has already been in existence otherwise, stay out of changing it, cause on the process of starting a battle that might not have a winning end and start facing threat of death, is better to stay away. When the leaders have decided to make changes to the problem of insecurity, I am sure they know where to start from.

On highways when traveling, you'll see different police checking points, what are they checking nothing, but rather collect money from every car that passes through, and tough to the public cabs. On several news has there be transportation of weapons from one region to the other through road transport, if the police are doing their work, those weapons will be cleared and proper persecution for such offense will be carried out. In a situation where such is done, you will hear order from the top

In as much as we need the support of the government, it is not ideal to settle for crime as the way out of your present predicament caused by the same government. If we all want to be angry on the current situation of the country, we will all raise up arms and kill ourselves because those in the higher hierarchy of the government are well protected and not affected by this same kidnappers they may have violently triggered to start such crimes. We hope for a better Nigeria, but taking up arms to satisfy our anger and hatred for the government will only cause more pains to us the people that they’re ruling because that’s the only people the kidnappers easily get access to exploit and not those who put them in that situation.

Staying upright can be difficult when those who are not upright are easily identified by the government. The state of security is a direct reflection of our type of government. There will always be problems in a country where the interests of the ruling elite take precedence over the interests of the majority.

People who pick up arms believe that if there is no violence, there will be no quick response from the government, and over time, carrying arms has always paid off because the government has always intervened through amnesty programs to control issues of arm violence from the aggrieved.
