The same way that we have the poor people that see gambling as a means of profit, is the same way that we also have rich people as gamblers that gambles for profits. It all depends on the individual and his mindset towards gambling. It is rich people that own houses, and they use their houses as collateral in casinos just for them to place their bets, because they are high rollers. Gambling have made many rich men poor, because of addiction, and gambling for profit.

right the rich would never do it to win money they only do it to be able to demonstrate to others that they can lose that amount or because gambling is actually addictive, I TOLD YOU SO, just for the fun of it whoever makes the money is always the lobbies eheh

Yeah,, the bragging, the insta picture with a 6 figure own bet,  the thrill of throwing around  challenge that you know most people even if they think they are right can't take it because of the money, they live in a different way from the rest.

~
Recognition? Maybe, or maybe not, because if they only want to be recognized then they should do other things and not gamble. Aside from that, no one recognizes if someone wins. Most of the time gamblers do not spread the information and keep it to themselves until they win huge amounts of money. So there is no recognition just like you said. They keep it to themselves every time they make the correct guess in every bet which will also make their spirits high.

You see, that's the problem when you analyze those, you do it from your own point of view!

A guy who has millions thinks differently, they know the money is their trump card, they don't care about bragging I've read 10 books in a year cause the other guys in their inner circle don't care about that either. If you're rich and you want to brag about something, if you're a gambler and you want to do it there is only one way, throw a $100k ticket at the super bowl and it doesn't matter how much you win or how bad you lose!

You win then there is 6 figure check that is making 7 figures views, you lose by one point, wow, look at that guy 1 point and he could have made a million, , you lose completely by being off 1000% , then you have a comeback, "I've just lost 100k because I was still drunk on my rare $15k whiskey bottle, no big deal". Envy me b1***s!

Think of drake's cursed bets for example, people talked more about the curse strike ending than the actual match when he bet on Logan Paul!
It's a different world when you can start adding 3 zeros to your average spending budget!

Most of the rich people gamble for entertainment while many gamble for competition. Everyone's point of view is different, so everyone's place is different. They don't play for money, they are serious about it, because they have enough money and don't think of getting rich quick like the lower class gamblers. Rich people do not gamble aggressively until they incur huge losses that hurt them financially. So my opinion is that rich people take up gambling as a form of entertainment and compete with other friends to determine who is the best gambler until a serious level of loss is faced.
I think I agree with you, most of the rich people  they gamble among  friends, they gamble to know who is the best Gambler. So their gambling is for computation not for making money  they are rich, already not trying to get richer through gambling, so two things about, rich gambling competition and entertainment,I agree with you.

Anyone whether rich or poor can gamble for money. The decision depends on the gambler. Some persons became rich through gambling and they still stick to gambling to become richer. I have heard stories of rich people who are professional gamblers. For a rich person to be described as a professional gambler means that he is gambling for money.
