Trump is a politician with populist rhetoric... If cryptocurrencies contradict his country's economic policies, he can ban cryptocurrencies immediately; if cryptocurrencies contribute to his country's prosperity, he can be more accommodating towards cryptocurrencies... I don't underestimate populist politics. Machiavellian thinking is an important part of politics. Therefore, for me, Trump's statement is a variable that does not go beyond emphasizing a period in time...
Everything was said in one post and everything is true to the last word - and if someone believes that Trump has changed his mind, he really lives in a world of illusions where politicians work for the good of the people, not for their own.
Someone who two years ago called Bitcoin a
"scam" completely turns the story around today, which clearly speaks of the seriousness of that man. I might even suspect that he is saying this for some kind of political points, but he understands that a lot of money has started to revolve around Bitcoin.
However, two or three years from today, we may read such statements again :
The former US president told Fox Business' Stuart Varney: "Bitcoin, it just seems like a scam. I was surprised — you know, with us, it was at $6,000 and, much lower. I don't like it because it's another currency competing against the dollar, essentially it's a currency competing against the dollar."
