Talking about influence it depends whether it is good or bad.
Politics can influence crypto, in my own opinion one of this influence is an influence of increase whereby we see Donald Trump using crypto as one of the basics subjects of his campaign that alone can influence people to it.

Then in the other hand we have the situation where china government taught crypto would have a bad influence to their youths and economy so they had to ban it that's a bad influence to crypto. So the effects of politics to crypto maybe be good or bad, and truly politics has an influence on crypto.

Of course politics definitely has roles playing within the crypto space whereas crypto has actually gained this stance due to supports and embracement of some politicians even though as the government is kicking against it due to its decentralizations.

The crypto currencies is assumed out of bullies in the sense that you regulates your funds by yourself unlike the fiats being regulated by the central authorities.

Very true that politics has influence over cryptocurrencies but let us not be surprised that the political key players are whales to the crypto industry that is why the media also has influence on the Crypto markets while their politicizing grudges lies on their social political sentiments.

Politics and media are the same, these have the influence to crypto market. Good or bad, it depends on what issue comes from those factors. Whenever the issue seems supporting crypto existence, it will bring positive influence to crypto market. But if it doesn't support the existence of crypto, it will bring negative influence. Politics can change the stand of crypto in a country because a sitting government of a country can decide on the fate of crypto in her country, whether it is to be illegal or legal.
