We don't need to regret what has happened because basically in 2010 many people still underestimated the price of bitcoin and did not expect it to be this expensive. What we need to do is we have to keep buying bitcoin as long as it is still easy to get. Imagine when miners can no longer produce Bitcoin, what is the price of Bitcoin on the market?
Yes, just make this as a lesson, because after all, everyone may have experienced the same thing. Regret is always behind, and that is very normal. What must be watched out for and avoided is making the same mistake, or doing the same thing that will cause the same regret.

We are currently trying to make the best plan for our investment, each person may have different targets, but the point is to take profits, much more profits.

I am also part of the people who regret not buying bitcoin early when it was still cheap, because there were many negative comments about bitcoin at that time and governments in several countries also strongly opposed bitcoin. but I agree with you, make that experience a lesson for us and now we invest in crypto so that we can get profit even though it is not as big as if buying bitcoin early in the profit.

if I was asked to choose between ETH or BTC
Then I would choose BTC, if I had more funds, because BTC is good for long-term investment.
Meanwhile ETH is an alternative after BTC because ETH is a coin whose market price is still very profitable for people. who seek profit

I don't think problem between Bitcoin and Ethereum because both kinds become good investment for long or short term, not prefer for selling the majority of Ethereum for investing in bitcoin but I am looking for other source income use for investing in bitcoin. Ethereum have good progress for long term and have the same opportunity with Ethereum, better have other capital use for investing in bitcoin have to sell Ethereum its self.
My investment assets currently are Ethereum and Bitcoin both of them have the same amount in my holding wallet, keep priority for both of them without take one because I know profitable earn when having bitcoin and ethereum as investment assets.

Typically, large investors always choose BTC for their portfolios because BTC has high liquidity and is the safest asset in this market. BTC has brought significant profits to investors thanks to its impressive recovery since the end of 2022, which many top ALTS cannot achieve.

However, at this point, if I have ETH, I would tend to continue holding ETH instead of using ETH to buy BTC because I believe that altseason is coming. The flow of funds cannot stop and only accumulate in BTC, the flow of funds needs to be circulated to generate more profits for whales, and it will flow into ETH and many ALTS in market. That will be when we see ETH/BTC increase, meaning ETH generates more profit than BTC.

If it was then, I will chose Bitcoin too but there is nothing bad if you spread your investment across Bitcoin and ethereum. There is room for growth and ethereum tend to have more growth than Bitcoin but adoption wise will go to Bitcoin for sure. This is why institutional investors keep pushing money to Bitcoin but opportunities are wide on ethereum. There is nothing bad if you buy ethereum along with your Bitcoin.

Some part of Ethereum community also seems to be losing interest in the future of Ethereum but what they don't understand is that the community has tested this phase before, there is no way Bitcoin will grow with ethereum along.

Ethereum is also good for investment, Ethereum is the second priority coin after Bitcoin although many large investors prefer Bitcoin Dr. Ethereum, but as king of Altcoin Ethereum is still a popular altcoin today.
If you compare the two of course Bitcoin is better and safer for investment, this is a fact that we must realize.
