6,800 companies from 100 countries and he still says all projects are bullshit I mean what he has invented till now. Ok I understand he has achieved some goals and came up with some unique ideas but how come out of all those 7,000 companies he did not come to like even one? I guess he was not in the mood that day or he was just time passing in that event.

If I were to see the list of the projects that joined the event I would share my opinion I am not the founder of runes but still I have enough knowledge to tell which projects have enough potential to grow and which don't have. IMO his own innovation is bullshit haha.

I don't feel sorry for the Ordinals and Runes people at all, though. This is a high-risk territory they are entering. As not only can the price change but they are also at the mercy of BTC devs. So whatever happens to the tokens is at their own risk.

Theoretically yes, but the developers haven't done anything so far (right?), so it's very likely that they won't do anything either. I don't know if they thought that the whole thing would fall apart relatively quickly, or if there is still a majority among them who have the opinion that any reaction on their part could be interpreted as censorship.

Be that as it may, I do not believe that people will give up such projects in the near future - because it has obviously become completely irrelevant whether a project will last 2 months or 2 years if it can be profited from it.

If you mean Bitcoin Core developer, the answer is no. Some suggestion or code change has been rejected due to various reason where some maintenance state it's controversial and can't be accepted by many.

Maybe 99.99% of them will be bankrupt by next year. Looking at it's sponsor page, i would bet at least 20% of them where it's dominated by those who have only 1 or 2 block.

For years I've asked everyone for a coin out there that has a pure purpose that does something that solves serious problems yet in the end it's just crickets or some vaporware. Seriously, why do we need those 7000 companies and what have they done that has changed lives? Nothing!
If you go on the profits path then Wall Street is 1000 times better than crypto as it made millions of people rich with far fewer rug pulls.
For a decade I'm still waiting for an altcoin that does anything else than return profits if you hold for some time, yet there is nothing there!
