stories of just getting a slap on the wrist has been repeated over and over when wealthy men are making their money work. so there is a chance that the money that this Bigatton had gotten from scamming thru Bitconnect is being given to the judge and some lawyers in this case.

3 years after he gets paroled for good behavior. who wouldn't want to get paroled so even iff its 5 years, this guy will buy anyone out there just to put it on paper that he is well behave and no danger to anyone.

It is not an event that i witnessed, but i read a few things about it though. If back then this guy was really actively promoting this ponzi scheme, then he only got but a slap on the wrist punishment. Punishments on cases like this should be more severe, so it can act as a deterrent, but this has not been happening of late with guys who scammed through crypto platforms or schemes.
