For now Nigerian government can't do any about cryptocurrency and it Blockchain because they too corrupt to involve in technological innovations and they are even against cryptocurrency ecosystem in the country from the onset. When a government that will support cryptocurrency co.es, we will know and not this one. And definitely the government will never support anything decentralized but things that they can control.

For me let the government avoid any form of project development such as digital currency or any blockchain for now, let them concentrate on fixing the economy for now because as it stands, we are not stable in terms of knowledge to build any of those things.

I agree with your opinion on the government working on her economy as a result of the current situation of things.  The citizens need better economy than what it is now. However, I think your opinion on the stability of knowledge on building a  blockchain project in the national name is far fetched, Nigeria is blessed with knowledge and tallent too numerous to be undermine. We have Crypto and blockchain experts that could be contracted to help develop such of the government are willing but what I would agree with you if you had said it is that the government is too corrupt to even syphone funds in the name of building a blockchain and still them would kill the project and make sure it doesn't see the light of the day because they would be afraid of using it.

If the Nigerian government launches a blockchain, rest assured it's not going to be a decentralized blockchain even if they claim it is, use this blockchain at your own peril.
I do not know what they even want to teach Nigerian about cryptocurrencies when and after they banned crypto multiple times and are yet to lift the ban.

Without them lifting the ban on cryptocurrencies, it is clear that they don’t have anything to do with the technology and are just after their own income, to fill their bags the more. I don’t know how a country that publicly open up that they don’t want anyone to transact any cryptocurrency or take part in any of them would want to create a system that allows such transactions to be processed on them. You can’t be two sided, if you’re with the people, say you’re with them and if you’re not, make it clear to them. I also don’t see any positive thing coming out from this until they change their stance about cryptocurrencies and make us see it as a more viable option to transact with even after regulating them.
