But there are still many of them out there. Recovery services are fraud just like cloud mining. Do not be careless with your seed phrase backup because looking for recovery service is like you are looking for someone to steal your coins from you.

How would these fraudsters steal their coins if someone did not save their seed phrases? Kidding aside, these fraudsters are going to scam those people's money. I guess such a service exists. I have seen a thread by a reputed member on the BitcoinTalk forum, and they have successfully recovered some Bitcoin wallets. But in that case, the user should have provided some information. I don't know how his service works, but I remember seeing a thread there.

However, if someone talks about crypto recovery services, that is a scam because crypto transactions are irreversible. There is no way someone can undo that after the blockchain confirmations. If someone knows a little about cryptocurrency, they won't fall for these scams. But there are always some new people who don't know these things. If the FBI wants to work, they should look for Word blocked because repetitive posts.org because they are scammers.

i guess that user really does recover wallets but with so many people claiming that they can it is difficult to gauge who are the legitimate ones and who are the ones not telling the truth even with a good reputation it is still hard to trust someone if it works out for you once it does not mean it can work for everyone else scammers are everywhere just waiting for the next gullible victim there are good services out there maybe but to be safe i would rather not avail any of these services

Actually I don't know how people get fooled by such scams, especially crypto recovery services.
At this current year, there might be a few investors out there that are still falling into the "Bitcoin double" scam where they promise you to double your money if you deposit X amount of money on their address. This is the reason why I'm not surprised that there are still investors who are being fooled into this cheap tricks by these scammers.

They will be using your emotions to scam you. That's the trick and if you're an investor that lost money, you will feel the relief whenever somebody said to you that they will recover your money. You will not use your critical thinking anymore up to the point where you will just unconciously send money to them.

Unfortunately, some people who lose their money due to fraud or mistake fall easy prey to such scam services, and instead of recovering their lost money, they lose more money.
It's unfortunate, but it is what it is. There will be investors who will fall into these cheap tricks, and many more in the future. The best way for them to learn is through experiencing it first-hand.
I agree with you, this is something I've come across on airdropping and I fell victim once and learnt my lesson to make research wider.
I never knew some dudes that are good in software operations can mimick some crypto assets already on market and create a fake telegram group, Twitter handle and other social media platforms carrying the same graphics of the original token and end up using it to scam people.
When I came across this fake BONK telegram airdrop, I was sent a message that I have received over 300,000,000 BONK after completing some simple task.
Clicking on withdrawal,  I was told to pay a fee of over 0.5BNB to receive the airdrop reward...
Seeing the reward is more than x2 of what I have to pay, I went ahead and transfered to the wallet address that was given, hoping to receive mine in few minutes... After waiting for more than hours, I tried reaching the project team from their social media handles I joined but I was already blocked from their telegram chat group and all other handles where I can make complain to the project team..
Then I had to complain to a friend of mine, before he gave me some piece of advice and I learnt Alot that unfaithful day...
It is obvious that there are alot of scam in the crypto world.
