In my own view, I find Trump’s sudden interest in crypto to be rather strange, yes Trump is a business man, correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think he had ever indicated any kind of interest in crypto, and it makes me keep asking why suddenly now he’s contesting for the presidency? Trump understands that the crypto community is a large one and if he succeeds to win them over, it’s gon be a great advantage for him. So I think I’m my opinion that Trump’s interest in Bitcoin and crypto as well as his promises to the crypto community is nothing but a political strategy to win their support over. So to answer the question, if I’m to vote to Trump, I’ll do that not because of his promises to the crypto community or his sudden indication of interest in crypto but simply because I feel he’ll make a better president compared to the other candidates.

He just launched a new crypto project hours ago[1], even though his interview about crypto is terrible IMO[2]. I think he's using crypto voters just to get more votes to win the election and there's no guarantee he will try to improve the market at all. He doesn't seem to understand crypto; if he does prepare a plan for us in the future, it probably comes from his subordinates. I don't think I'd vote for him because of these reasons. I think focusing too much on a single aspect of his campaign is also a bad idea, so that's that.

Trump did promise a lot about cryptocurrency, yes, it would certainly be a breath of fresh air for cryptocurrency activists, especially US citizens if Trump were elected president... but considering that campaign promises are always not fulfilled, it makes me a little skeptical and not have high hopes for Trump... then the consideration in choosing a president is not only from the crypto campaign, there are many other parameters and his background that also influence my choice... considering Trump's background, I don't have a strong intention to support him yet.

What the fuck?

( I am US, so my opinion doesn't matter, but anyway: )

I do not understand how someone who tried to sell out the country in his last term is so popular amongst you guys.

That moment when strangers on a forum who have never set foot in your country know better who you should elect and why, right?  ;D
It's quite amusing when elections come up suddenly everyone is a major strategist and economist and a master's degree in US history!
I've always wondered why they don't use that energy and knowledge to fix their country first!

Most countries (including the US) don't care about the energy and knowledge of their citizens.

Most countries (including the US) don't care about the energy and knowledge of their citizens.

There is basically no interest to invest in any sort of education, public or otherwise, if it's not making them money. Which is almost always is the case, as these are public projects funded by the government via taxpayer money.

Then there's the whole "MAGA likes the poorly educated" can-of-worms argument but I'm not going to get into that.

Trump is the one drawing all the attention of the crypto community to this election, you won't blame those who buy into it, i don't care what happens in the U.S. elections, but Trump has made a lot of bitcoiners believe that he would do good things for the network. So it is only natural that some of them become really interested in the outcome of the election, even if they can't vote.

Honestly this will depend on other factors and not just crypto before I’ll cast my vote for him. Seeing him likened to cryptocurrency most especially bitcoin is a good thing and if he does and accomplish a lot of things he’d said he’ll do about bitcoin, I’ll vote for him will all honesty. But since he’s a politician and from my large view about politicians not to be trusted whatsoever kind, I would reserve my votes for him on that aspect and look into other aspects he’d do for the country when he becomes the president. If he’s better than the other person and also Fiorentina plus one initially from his stance on bitcoin, I’ll give him my vote, if not I won’t give him anything.

I do not agree with many of Trump stances and opinions, but his support for crypto made me reflect, is this issue strong enough for me to cast a vote for him,
and i am wondering about the rest of crypto owners around the world.

If you had the power to cast 1 magical vote for Trump, would you do it ?
If I am opportune to vote, I will cast my vote for Trump not because of crypto but because of how Trump flaunts himself to be bold and vocal to defend the oppressors that its government is treating their citizens badly.

If Trump had being the president of US, Russia and Ukraine war won't have last for this long. He would have put an end to it with a lasting solution. If Trump end up of becoming the US president, watch how he will make America great again.
