Craig Wright files lawsuit against BTC Core and Square without barrister

Craig Wright appears to be acting as his own legal representation in a newly filed lawsuit against Bitcoin Core and Jack Dorsey’s Square.

As pointed out by Bitmex Research, a UK High Court case tracker shows that Wright filed the lawsuit on October 10 as a ‘litigant in person.’ This would indicate that he is likely filing the lawsuit himself without representation from a solicitor or barrister. Read more here.

I also thought that last case would be the last. I am surprised that I am seeing another case again but this time, he is representing himself like he is alone in the world.

He can continue to be in lawsuit but if he is going to win any case related to bitcoin, he would have won by letting people know that he is Satoshi, but he continues to let people know that he is Faketoshi.

Satoshi will not be court before he/she/they prove/s himself, herself or themselves as Satoshi.

Of course, you made a very wrong assumption on Craig Wright. This man billed as faketoshi (as proven many times both inside and outside of the court system) will not stop trying to be relevant in this era of cryptocurrency when there is no more a place for him. He got the money so maybe he decided that since he got nothing to do and he enjoyed being on the limelight, why not come up with something. I am just wondering why he is now lawyering himself...can it be that there is no more available lawyer that would go with his shenanigans?

This guy is strange, anyone else in his place would have disappeared from sight forever after receiving all these insults in front of the world public opinion, his official name has become "Faketoshi" and yet he is not ashamed of himself and returns to file lawsuits again.

If he is filing the lawsuit himself this time, I think the only reason is that there is no lawyer who will accept to represent him in this lawsuit after his lies and deception were exposed.

But i'd bet it's related how he lost to COPA where he forced to pay COPA's legal cost, where many of his asset got frozen and he ran away from UK after Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) tasked to investigate him. If UK court doesn't strike out his malicious lawsuit, he's almost certain will lose to Square (also called Block) who could easily afford good lawyer.

I am hoping that court will see his intent in this another lawsuit and dismiss the case right away. The man is already a big joke and seems to me that the only one not recognizing this malady is himself. In the COPA case, I think there was an admission that he is suffering from autism...maybe this will explain the many things he had done for the past few years and how he humiliated himself in front of the legal system. Now, for all we know, the reason for this another case is for him to land on the news again...and the message is that Craig Wright is not going anywhere until the whole world will crown him as the real Satoshi Nakamoto...will will never happen, of course.

me too but i guess we should have known better that people like this will never stop even after they get exposed and their lies are all broken down he seems like a narcissist by the way he doesn’t know when to stop and admit defeat all these lawsuits seem like a waste of time

IMO faketoshi actually make false claim having autism (along with suicide attempt) to have better chance winning on court. He also used such excuse against Kleiman.

AFAIK it's not that hard to find lawyer who would work together with someone who have criminal or lying history. So it's more likely due to lack of money or asset, since some of his money or asset already seized by UK government.

He won't win this case he is not an expert although he has spent a lot of time among solicitors and barristers but it does not mean he is an expert now and he can be a litigant in person. He don't stand a chance here, although if he win at some point he might make some money. I don't know why but this dude is so obsessed with law and I think he is finding reasons to visit courts and maybe he doesn't want to be an engineer but a barrister instead lol.

The money he is demanding is very high so that's sure he won't get that. I also thought we wouldn't see him again as Satoshi, but he came up with something else so I think it won't be wrong to say he loves visiting court.

I hope so that we don't get to see him anymore. He's already irrelevant and trying to be relevant again to make some noise for his name. There's no need for him to do such and just live quietly, that's what life is but IIRC, there was the case that he lost as he's not the real satoshi. I don't get it what is he getting from this when he's just spending money, a lot of it from doing these filings.

he is losing money and possibly his own reputation but i am guessing that the money he can get is worth enough whatever he is willing to spend or maybe this isn’t even about money and he just genuinely is the biggest attention seeker in the whole wide world he has become such a laughingstock in the crypto community and he is not helping his own image

I'm quite surprised to see CW resurface. After his lies were so publicly exposed in court, one would have thought he'd disappear from crypto media. It's peculiar that the lawsuit lacks specific reasons, and the absence of legal counsel suggests CW is more interested in seeking attention than engaging in a substantive legal battle.

Regardless, I believe the crypto community won't side with CW, regardless of the lawsuit's purpose or content. CW should use his resources to enjoy life or invest in BTC rather than stirring up trouble within this community.

The court already turn him down of being Satoshi, now every words comes from his mouth regarding bitcoin should be considered lies.
Now, he sued the core developers of Bitcoin, suing because of misinterpret of BTC as original Bitcoin where his Bitcoin SV should be the original. How can he claim like that and encourage the court that its true when that alt BSV came from the fork of Bitcoin cash, and Bitcoin Cash came from Bitcoin fork, oh God! How logic comes out the world.
