It's not like a time will come, the time has come already. I hve seen countless of new games and when you go to their Twitter page, what you see on their handle is joined July and August. That means most of them are created recently due to hype and no really serious thing on the chain, just clicker game that will come around and then later beg Ton from it's community.
I think it's high time the Ton community step up the game, utilize the game and not all this come and abandoned projects that don't have any value to the network. Why not create something that will support the network instead of giving people hope of making free money then run from one project to another for fee money.
Every ecosystem needs promising projects, and Ton is no exception. I believe we will see the best projects on Ton. However, achieving this is not easy for a community-driven blockchain like Ton. Backed by a community of nearly 1 billion Telegram users, Ton's development can't be as sustainable as Cardano's or as wild as Solana's.
A few games on Ton have lost their appeal after HMSTR disappointed players. The uptrend is approaching, and I fear that when it happens, Ton will have nothing to grow on except a few boring tap-to-earn games or outdated memecoins.
The best ones are the ones that will survive when the bear market comes.
Let's remember the NFT hype last 2021 where games are popping out everywhere. When the bull run ended and we entered the bear market, most of the NFT games got abandoned, and the ones like Axie Infinity and others survived and still making some developments on their project.
It's the same with this one however like you said though, it's a community-driven blockchain, and most of the meme coins that are being released on TON blockchain depend heavily on the community. I know it's a good thing, but one mistake can have a big impact on the community that supports the project. Just look at what happened to Hamster Kombat. After that news regarding internal problem, it's price when it got launched immediately plummeted. I don't know if they will recover after this one, but I have no faith in the project anymore.
