About posts that are too off topic

It is not always unless the person didn't read the Op and only make comments from another person post. But if the person red the Op then he will be on point. And if you see an off topic post that is not aligned with course of discussion then you have to report it for deletion. But if is inline with the content discussed the you don't have to report it. Not all discussions are straight forward from the beginning but some would start astray and hit the point at the conclusion.

I have noticed several times that when a discussion reaches page 3 or more, sometimes the last post is too far off topic, even though it is still connected to the previous post... however, when it no longer refers to the main topic, it is still called "off topic"

What can I do if I find out this (posts from other people that are too far off topic) happens again in the future?

I would love to learn pls.... How about the OP's topic has been given much repetitive comments that are inline with the topic will those who are repeating answers be penalized??
And how about one seeing that the comments to OP post are reoccurring and decides to comment on OP's post by quoting from any of the comments and the reply isn't really directly inline with OP's post....
Is it an off-topic too??
Finally, what if in the case of countering a comment you feel isn't true by proofs which are not part of OP's post?

I am having a hard time understanding what you mean, how can a topic begin to make sense at its conclusion. The op of a thread should already give you enough information about what the thread is about and people making posts in it have to stay on topic.

It is a simple analogy. Some people start a thread with stories and the main message is revealed at the end and we have seen that in many occasions. I am even wondering why you have not seen such threads in either here or other forum. So you don't have to confused of hard to understand what I am saying. I am saying it because I have seen it many times.

Many people repeat what has been said from the previous Posts so they like off topic. And some say things that are not related to the course of discussion that also lead to off topic. Normally off topic is not hard to detect when your browsing the forum. The forum is meant for cryptocurrency discussions and when when it is not related to any of the SubBoards then it is off topic as well.

There are not many people like that, my friend... many people here don't even come back to discuss the same topic again and maybe because there are already new topics and many of us start to ignore topics that are too crowded... the most important thing in a discussion is that there is mutual criticism and refutation so that each individual can improve their perspective on something...

Any post that does not worth the standard for a quality post should be regarded as one which is off topic and there is no need for creating any post or thread when it is not informative or educative, we also have to think about making a post more in details by inserting the necessary links where needed for reference purpose, we should make a post brief and understandable by the reader by being precise.

You can also say in that thread that the post is off-topic, and then PM the OP that maybe he needs to close the thread already.

Or report it to mods and see if they are going to take actions. But I guess, people here will really want to discuss and add anything to the discussion maybe it's based on their experience and most of the time they didn't regard it as off-topic.

In the other forum, too obvious off-topic posts are reported to the moderators who would either move or delete the posts as the case may be, I believe same should be done here. If you see such posts, report to the moderators. You can as well give them a negative karma if they keep spamming the forum with off-topic posts.
