if you are active on X, you might have seen the chill guy meme everywhere he is edited by users in different locations and situations where they are seemingly just a chill guy needless to say it has taken over the platform and has gone viral

memecoins industry of course took advantage of this popular meme and someone made a token out of the meme the original creator of the chill guy meme then copyrights the character and has expressed his disinterest in being involved with anything crypto related or anyone using his character for profit

i think this can be a good lesson that even though memecoins are indeed made out of memes, if the meme is created by an artist they should ask for permission to use said meme for their token

they will be taking profit from a meme that they didn’t make after all

I can't believe that the entire definition of memecoins is not based on anything technical but just a name and logo. If it was changed to something related to AI, it would be AI coin, if it was changed to something funny, it would be memecoin, and so on.

Just 7 days ago, its price was at $0.00604, and now its price is at $0.26, where its ATH was around $0.37, so if I just bought it for $20,
my profit would be $900 or something.

That's what meme coins do when you're ready for the price to suddenly pump. So if you're in time, it's really possible for you to make money quickly if your investment
is a large amount. I can't believe, in just 1 week, the market cap has already risen to around $400 million.

Maybe we should just take a look at the just concluded election and memecoins created with the name Trump and Harris, there are lots of them and only one or two are just the legit and recognized ones, but we have people making new developments in their name for their own personal project, all because they wanted to be heard and pull the same required traffic for their project as well, if we cannot afford the loss, then we should not try and go for any of these random memecoins or tokens because we may be disappointed in them.

Memecoins are experiencing BIG BOOM these days and there seems to be no end in sight for new projects to be coming in looking for people's support and wallets as well. Now, one of the many things noticeable is that many successful memecoins are based on some form of a narrative...example of this are $MOODENG and $PNUT. Now, with the Chill Guy its popularity in X prodded some to make something out of it in the world of memecoin, the problem is that we still have to respect copyright to the owner and the creator of the said digital asset. Sadly, just like $MOODENG and $PNUT, this one is also not collaborating with the OG and just go ahead without even trying to communicate the intent. I am not approving of this strategy and maybe soon there can be a class suit to be filed against devs of a memecoin due to copyright infringement.

that’s because this meme is really popular i personally do not find it that funny but i see it everywhere on my timeline which is why it just makes sense for the memecoin to do well but like any other memecoin it will just drop in price after the meme has gone down

that is not what i am talking about though the creator of the meme feels unfair for anyone else to take profit from the meme he created and popularized meanwhile the developers of said memecoins will be swimming in money due to viral meme

Liquidity is what will determine if you can't sell at those prices then there is no point in it being $0.37 what determines the profits is your ability to sell not whether the price reaches a certain level.

+1 huge black. The twitter space has as much scam and pump dump meme coins as it has legit ones too. If you want to be profitable in the shilling and pump dump farming, you will definitely need more than the hype of different meme coins and tokens on twitter. The bottom line is , meme coin farming needs more than just hype because those who have the information fastest profit the most.

In most markets, liquidity is a dynamic factor and as a result people would not go for tokens with a small market cap. I looked up CHILL GUY meme coin and there were so many of them though I found one that's still in a pump and a huge market cap compared to the others.
