Exploring NFT marketplaces
« on: December 08, 2024, 07:09:02 PM »
Outside of losing bands over crypto (mostly due to bad planning on my part), I’m still a big Web3 believer. As an avid gamer, I’ve decided to shift my strategy and align it with my hobby: NFTs!

Back when I first heard about NFTs, OpenSea was (and still is) the hot spot. But the fees gave me pause. So, I did some digging and stumbled upon Magic Eden. It’s multi-chain like OpenSea but is mostly focused on gamer NFTs. They’ve got low fees, a market aggregator, and solid gaming collaborations. Plus, their focus on supporting creators, buyers, and sellers equally is a big plus for me.

One thing I always check out—whether it’s a game or an app—is the UI. Magic Eden’s interface is intuitive, uncluttered, and easy to navigate, making it a perfect base for me to start exploring NFTs further. I’m planning to dive deeper, mess around with gaming assets, and see where it takes me.

What about you guys? What NFT marketplaces do you use and why? Are you creating, investing, or just exploring?

I'm not a fan of NFTs since the hype died down, and also talking about Magic Eden ($ME) you mentioned above, I did a research on it (although we learn everyday) and it seems promising. I'll give it a shot, especially with their listing tomorrow, airdrop and staking rewards.
Before i forget, i also saw that someone can deposit $ME to get $ME airdrop and I can Lock $ME to get more of $ME. Is it true?

            -     Opensea is really the biggest marketplace for NFTs in this field of crypto space. Though, I'm not really a fan of NFTs but I just have an idea of which marketplaces you can go to. Here's the link, you check it out https://dappradar.com/rankings/nft/marketplaces

I don't know the reason why you're into NFTs, but good luck to you and I hope you get a big profit from what you're doing in this matter.

I am not into NFTs that much, I just use NFT marketplaces to sell received NFTs and as long as I am able to sell, I am good, however I liked Solana's Tensor marketplace among all I have used so far, it was just so pleasing to use compared to rest.
