Trump names ex-PayPal COO David Sacks as ‘AI and crypto czar’

Donald Trump has appointed PayPal’s former chief operating officer David Sacks, now known for co-hosting the “All In” podcast, as his top AI and crypto adviser.

“David O. Sacks will be the ‘White House A.I. & Crypto Czar,’ Trump wrote in a Dec. 6 post on his social media platform Truth Social — two areas he called “critical to the future of American competitiveness.”

“He will work on a legal framework so the Crypto industry has the clarity it has been asking for, and can thrive in the U.S.,” Trump added.

Sacks was an early executive of the payment giant PayPal and co-founded the business social network platform Yammer, which Microsoft bought for $1.2 billion in 2012. He is now best known for co-hosting the business-focused All In podcast and co-founding the venture capital firm Craft Ventures.

A lot of crypto users are looking forward to that too, Trump has been making his appointments, and some of them, like this one and that of the new sec chair has caught the interest of the crypto community, since we cannot be so sure of what exactly is to come, so we have to wait and see, but there is a lot of optimism.

Trump already did great jobs with appointing the right people to oversee the fair regulation of cryptocurrency in the United States; he needs experienced people who have visions like him to fulfill what he promises to the community; he needs to satisfy the crypto community because he is all headlines in the community, and this translates to winning the US election.
Now we have to just sit back and watch what will unfold when Trump sits as the president of the powerful country.

It is becoming obvious that Donald Trump meant what he said (crypto planned promises)during his elections campaigns, and it is now glaring even from his recent appointments in my opinion.
First was his recent SEC appointment, a position which many sees as great among the crypto community members. And now, another addition, a White House A.I and crypto Czar. I think we are going to see a regime fullly pack with friendly government officials in the next four years. I am hoping to see a massive crypto boom, and it may be loading.

david sacks' background is indeed interesting he was a coo paypal before venturing out into crypto for sure he has learned a thing or two about managing paypal that he could apply to the currenct government or rather take lessons from and never to do it again

trump is appointing people with a genuine interest for crypto and has been working towards that goal way before so i think it is safe to assume that crypto will definitely thrive in their country in the next following months i just wonder how it will be accepted by the general public but if trump could convert every citizen to a bitcoin lover then hats off to him!!

This is really promising, as I see from following the news that Trump has already started to choose the right men to create an open regulatory environment for crypto.

I don't know the man so I can't judge, but I hope this appointment will be in the interest of Bitcoin and crypto in general, I am generally optimistic after the appointment of Elon Musk and a new head of the SEC, these changes suggest that Trump has started to implement his election promises.

No The constitution could pass an admendment that allows more than two terms.

Which would allow Trump to run again.
So if he smokes and whales making america great again it is possible he could run again.
He is old and he is fat.

So that would likely prevent the third term shot.

I can tell you now I would love to see him run again because he made america great again.

Right now he is basking in Biden’s record breaking crypto run.

Biden as laid down more than 20 days in a row over 90k. I lot of hope for Trump lets see how it shakes out.

with a lot of respect for Trump he has been more confident about his promises and willingness to help and support the cryptocurrency community, with just his short time already we have seen more impacts from him towards the crypto community. David sacks is a very strong and reputable source to guide against the crypto industry so Trump has a great mindset towards this project and more so he has great eye and vision to appoint more experts and experienced individuals.
If Trump continues with his promises and actions towards what he said then he will definitely make crypto world more successful and truthfully to many nations and crypto community will be accepted by many people and not taken as scam or fraudulent. This is really a good news because this will surely pump the AI narrative and those who have invested in AI narrative can make good profits if they choose right projects. Overall currently the marketcap of AI sector is too low even if compared to a memecoin (Doge) which means AI sector has a lot of potential to grow and with AI agents included as sub category of AI sector.

The market cap of AI sector will increase. Trump is really making the most crypto friendly environment for the BTC and still if it failed to do a 2x from here then it would all be a waste. I was almost losing my hopes on AI narrative even if I don't have big portfolio in that this news is a hope a big hope.

Any new administration will make changes based on how they want to run the government, it is a normal thing. Trump is saying his administration has interest in BTC and so it is normal that he will make 'moves' as regards that. It is still early to say if he will stick with it, so i am patiently watching.
