We can't teach about everything to a kid and not even to an adult for that matter. I do agree we have to create more awareness about addiction in general as early as possible so that more people have chance to get out of this swirl but it's not only the responsibility of education system.

It should be done combined by efforts from all the side, mainly from parents in my opinion.

I agree with you, if the school is about teaching responsible gambling to under age children then I would say it would be a failed venture indeed. Because their eager mind will want to gamble which should not happen. It turns out that by teaching them about responsible gambling, you are teaching them to gamble at an underage level. Also I think it is better to keep gambling related issues away from students because they have no reason to know about it when they don't earn and even though they can gamble with pocket money it can make them addicted at this age which is a terrible situation for the society. will cause So responsible gambling should not be taught to underage children at least in schools.

If gambling is included in school education and taught to children rather than those who do not know about gambling will try to learn about gambling. This can increase the interest of those people towards more gambling. It is different for those who are mature. But I do not agree to include it in education system. I think it would be appropriate if family education and a rehabilitation center were to provide such education.

However, if proper feedback is not available from the mentioned places, then if these education are kept online, a gambler can easily get them as needed. The family will never teach any of its members about responsible gambling. They never want any of their members to become addicted to gambling.

If a minor becomes addicted to gambling, he may gradually indulge in various bad activities. When a person becomes addicted to gambling at a minor age, that person may engage in various criminal activities to earn gambling money. Before entering that, the task of education here is to educate them what is meant by responsibility, in general. Because when they understand what is meant by responsibility, then it will be useful for all aspects of life. This is also not entirely a school assignment, but it can be practiced at home, for me it is the first school for children.

When they understand what responsibility is, then they will automatically understand what they should do when doing something, including gambling. but clearly this is not something easy, it requires guidance and also awareness from within.

It should be, but the question is WHO?
Who will be the one that will teach it to different schools?

Psychiatrists? Those experts who have been into the rehabilitation centers? Some might say those teachers can do it, but isn't it better if the one that will be teaching is are those people who have experience in handling gambling addicts already because in that way, they can teach the students based on their experience. In that way, they can convey to them much better, and they can explain better because it is coming from their own experience. Teachers can do, but the impact would be different compared to if those experts are the ones that will teach it.

If there will be a time that teachers will teach these students responsible gambling then it would be good, but I doubt that the government will allow that one knowing that it negatively affects those registered casinos out there.

Let's not jump into any conclusions, let's say the minors may drain the bank accounts of their parents on extreme level and anything beyond is rare and can't be accepted because they're addicted but the chances of happening then are slim unless they are surrounded by such environment where they can be taught to do such things in case if they need money.

I observed that the issue with some parents is that they form too busy and more serious with their jobs & occupation forgetting to perform their parental relationship and responsibility very well to their kids, they always leave the kids with nanny and assume that the nanny can teach the kid all the thing they should know. Like you said, it should be a combination of effort, kids doesn't just learn in school but I think at their tender age, they learn from everywhere and at some point, they can even learn more from what is happening around them and because they spend most of their time at home, they learn more home.

Like you said, it should be a combination of effort, kids doesn't just learn in school but I think at their tender age, they learn from everywhere and at some point, they can even learn more from what is happening around them and because they spend most of their time at home, they learn more home.

There is a need for work-life balance so that parents can balance their careers and families. Unfortunately, most jobs do not allow parents to provide their children with the attention and training they need to succeed in life. A child's upbringing can be compared to a system, and just as all parts of the system are required to play a role in the proper functioning of the system, so are parents, schools, and even churches expected to play roles in making a child a better person in society.

I recall that sex education was not previously taught in schools. However, due to the recurrence of unwanted pregnancy and the spread of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), sex education was introduced to assist individuals, particularly teenagers, in avoiding these sexually related challenges. So, now that gambling has become a global issue, teenagers and adults should be guided through instructions and programs from parents, teachers, and even guidance counselors to provide teenagers with concrete information on how to avoid gambling related even before they even engage in it.

Yes, gambling should be taught in school but like in seminars or talk to teach the children the negative effects of gambling so that the students will have awareness about the negative impact of gambling. By learning about gambling and its problems, students can make smarter choices and avoid getting into trouble.

There's nothing response about gambling. I think gambling in its entirety should be discouraged in schools through civil education. Pupils and students should be made to understand that there's no free money anywhere and that gambling can ruin one's life within a twinkle of an eye
