Bump!
I just had a really neat idea which I posted on the GenesisMix thread:
Useful information, Please do not ignore:
🛡️ Our domain extension is .cx, please visit: https://genesismix.cx/
This gives me an idea. Why don't I make a matrix of all the mixers' domains, and then color them green or red to denote whether it's legit or phishing?
It was a hobby project of mine for some time but for crypto sites in general. I reckon I could have it up in about a week with the help of Grok (which by the way is seriously good at coding - highly recommend it if you're a developer).
I have been sitting on a Chrome Web Store account for some time, which I haven't used for anything useful yet (except to make an
anti-phishing extension for gibberish domain names)
Additionally:
I announce plans to make an
automatic phishing link blocker.
It will be similar to the Metamask web3 badlist but this one will be for Bitcoin sites.
The extension will be available for Firefox and Chrome, on the desktop platforms. And for people who use other platforms such as mobiles, Tor, Safari, Internet Explorer (ewww) I will have a public list of domains on Github which you can import to a Pi-hole or some other DNS-blocking frontend like NetDNS or maybe even a VPN.
That way
anyone will be able to use the filter.
