In the last news I read, Ignatova was rumored to be hiding in Russia, but considering the possibility that she is in Africa right now, it proves that she is quite good at hiding her identity... the high reward offered by the information hunting agencies for the whereabouts of Ruja Ignatova proves that the queen is really hard to find...

Today's technology might be impressive but so is the population growth and the mobility of people, you have millions running around, there are cities that are full of strangers, the war and work from home has complicated things even more, despite all those conspiracies about surveillance it's really hard to find someone if he knows a few basics stuff about hiding and doesn't run red light drunk in a custom Bugatti.

I guess the public news to be discussed on this matter is that she has been caught and brought to justice, other documentaries on her trace in South Africa is just a good news that is incomplete probably a medium of getting more views and catching the interest of the public.

It's time we disregard every form of news and documentaries stating that Ruja Ignatova is alive and found somewhere. If they know where she is, they should apprehend her already and stop repeating thesame old stories over and over again.

The latest was up to $5 Million right? That's already a huge amount but I guess it's not enough for whoever is supporting her right now to snitched on her. Maybe she pays them more than that to keep her away from all the law enforcement coming after her.

You are right the reward is $5 million, and it's really a big amount, but if she managed to remain hidden till now then I don't think anyone will be able to catch him speaking about the author he just being a little imaginative you know how they go when writing. Agencies put a bounty when they are fed up and want things heated up and difficult for the criminals IMO.

She might be paying his companions more or she might be already dead or she has done the plastic surgery and now no one can recognize her and she might be living her life on some island haha. I think it happened in 2014 and that time there was great hype of ICO where people were investing and getting good returns. I came to know about crypto in 2018 and left it and again in 2021 maybe as that time I joined BTT. The reward on her head is really big and I can't really say how she able to raise that much funds, The people must be so greedy at that time that they want their money to be 100x in no time and end up losing it all.

I watched a lot of videos and read articles where they explained how crazy the trend was of ICO as people were really expecting more than 100x returns on their investings.

I always remember these two projects which got so popular years ago: OneCoin and Bitconnect. I was not victimized by OneCoin because the entry level was already expensive for me at that time but I got into Bitconnect and even made some amount of money in there and lose nothing because I got out before it imploded. Many people lost money and I am sure they will always remember these two as representing big lessons when dealing with cryptocurrency industry: there are so many scammers and fraudsters around ready to punch anyone's wallet for good and run away from it. Good thing I never lost money in FTX and Tera since I got no involvement with those platforms. In years to come, I am sure we can still encounter similar stories in this industry though the scale may not be anymore comparable to the past.
