As practice has shown, unfortunately negative (my country suffers from external aggression) - our cash or money in stable currencies (dollar, euro), turned out to be the most liquid means for purchases. How can you pay with cryptocurrency - if your city is destroyed by barbaric bombings, and there is no communication, even primitive mobile communication. Probably cryptocurrency, in such a situation, can be considered only as a safer mechanism to take out your assets/savings, without the risk of being captured and searched by the invaders, with the loss of all found fiat money or jewelry....

not to worry DrBeer. it looks like the Ukr vs Rus is going to end soon though.
G7 already stole Russia's foreign reserve of $20B and gave it to Zelensky. hows that for the payment of the land that Russia will take. sooner i think they will call it quits. 
i doubt Zelensky is going to give it to Ukrine though. his wife gonna buy more luxury cars after the war.

Zelensky is treated just fine. He has not become a pariah and despicable like Putin's international outlaw. Besides, Putin, an international criminal, is afraid of Zelensky, which also adds to Zelensky's rating. i just watched the Civil War 2024 movie, quite scary if it happens where you are in the middle of the wars of groups you don't wanna join.
there's a scene in the movie where they tried buying gas which when they said they have Canadian Dollar and the group of individuals who ruled that place accepted the money.  it looks like Canadian Dollar is  still sought after. i hoping to see crypto wasn't introduced there but none.

if we are in this kind of situation where the electricity is still on like its normal situation still and internet is accessible, wouldn't it make sense for the warlords to accept BTC and other crypto?

I think that would be safer way to store the money through Bitcoin in that kind of situation compared to having fiat currency or physical money or precious metals that can be looted or robbed. Though phones and devices can be looted but as long as you have the private keys of your wallet it is still safe.
