What happens to an account after a prolonged period of inactivity?

Like others have said, you literally have nothing to worry about mate, so long you can remember your login details, you are always welcome to use the forum at your will.

On point, in as much as one has the details of it's login, they can enter the forums at any given time, and do the needful but they should always remember to abide to the rules and regulations to avoid any punishment or consequences that follows if one did not follow the rules.
So apart from this, one is good to go, even if they decide not to post for a long period of time due to reason best known to them but any time they revisit the forum, they should always go and the rules and follow just in case they have forgotten about it.
