Chainlink Labs is looking for a Software Engineering Manager to lead the team responsible for building the on-chain billing and payments protocol within the Chainlink ecosystem. This role is ideal for someone who can blend technical expertise with leadership to help Chainlink scale across multiple blockchains and products.
Key Skills & Experience Needed:

    5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
    Strong people management skills—able to mentor, motivate, and grow a team.
    Experience delivering high-impact, high-quality products on time in a fast-moving environment.
    Ability to navigate changing product requirements and set clear expectations with stakeholders.
    Comfortable working in a globally distributed team with high ownership and autonomy.

Bonus Skills (Preferred but Not Required):

    Proficiency in Solidity, TypeScript, Go, and SQL.
    Experience developing secure, high-value smart contracts.
    Background in building global, highly reliable products.
    Active participation in the blockchain ecosystem.

What You’ll Be Doing:

    Leading and scaling a team of up to eight engineers.
    Collaborating with engineering, product, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution.
    Driving technical and strategic decisions for the payments protocol.
    Contributing technically through code reviews and occasional coding.
    Hiring and retaining top-tier engineering talent.
