I am really surprised to see no DOGECOIN on the list ;D. Especially when so much importance is being given to Elon Musk by Trump.

Isn't it weird that DOGE is on the list? It's like forcing a coin with a funny use case on a serious government... the memecoin character is like a joke from the community, and it doesn't fit for government adoption like the US, especially for the strategic reserve planned by Trump...

Nepotism will be obvious, considering that only Elon Musk is a big figure who tweeted DOGE coin in the list of rich people in the world....

bitcoin, ethereum, xrp, solana, and cardano

these are the ones trump chose to be added to the us strategic reserve some people may wonder why he chose these ones but i think the simple answer is that these are top crypocurrencies by marketcap right now bnb and usdt are among the top ones but of course they wouldn't choose bnb since it is from an exchange and it would be pointless to add usdt to their national reserve since it is just usd issued by another company

with this said, do you think trump could add more cryptocurrencies in the reserve in the future? and if yes, which ones do you think have the possibility?

I get why Trump picked those coins for the US reserve, they are some of the biggest players out there. BNB and USDT probably got skipped because one's tied to an exchange and the other's a stablecoin, you know? I'd bet more coins could join the list later but it'd depend on how big they are, how safe they feel and what are the rules say.

Yes, it would be obvious if the DOGE coin was added to the list, having its major figure, Elon Musk, in the same government. That would be all hell loose on the Trump government for putting such on the list and, at the same time, having Elon as the head of the Department of Government Efficiency, making it clear their intentions of manipulating the crypto market to their own benefit and to the detriment of the masses. I think it would not work that way so possibly amongst the reason why it was not included on the list.

Yes, I do think that Trump could and he will add more cryptocurrencies in the reserve in the future. I won't say the name of any coin but I'm pretty sure that he'll add some coins from top 100 coins, and there's chance that the number may grow to 10 in future.

We still have some potential token out their that can be added, stable token
Will trump consider PI network?

Meme is a meme, and at least we won't be having those on the reserve list..

I think these once that has been added to the strategic reserves is okay because what crypto currency needs now is the right policy and environment that will lead to the adoption of crypto currency by more people around the world and I think that trump has already done enough for the crypto community even though that other crypto currencies where not added for the main time, I believe in the future more crypto currencies will be added if the crypto currency perform well

If Trump is going to add more coins to the reserve it has to be a token that they’ll definitely have a good use case in the future and not anyhow coin. The reason for BNB and USDT not added to the reserve is very clear and I think he can go for other options but for it to happen, I think the reserve for this needs to have been effected and already invested heavily in this coins in the reserve. Actually, I am not thinking of any more coins that would be added, but in the future we will get to know Trump stance on other coins he will like to add to the reserve.

It is true that the US reserve has been chosen as the best right now because it is very advantageous for future developments, which will provide good changes for developments that will occur in the future.
For those that were not chosen, maybe because there is something that cannot be expressed openly, but it is not impossible that there will always be additions that will be made and everyone will always be waiting for that.
