Why don't the majority of online casinos focus on creating their mobile apps?

Honestly, I can’t get into mobile gaming the same way. The sounds, the designs, the rewards are all the same, but something just doesn’t feel right. The small 6-inch screen doesn’t do the games justice! When I’m on a computer, I feel like the visuals and overall experience are so much better.
I think this is why so many online casinos don’t invest in app development (and instead focus on optimizing the site for mobile browsers)… I think they already know that players tend to focus more on the desktop experience than anything else. So paying a big sum for an app seems like a waste of money to them.
What about you guys? Have you ever had a moment where you felt mobile gaming was better, or is the desktop experience always your go-to?

We all have different preferences when it comes to playing in casinos; it depends on our personalities, our environment, and what we get used to.
I myself had a hard time doing it on a mobile, but I feel comfortable on my desktop, but that doesn't mean that the desktop experience is far better. Casinos mobile versions will always have users, so why not have the casino tap this market? Of course they don't want their desktop users going to another casino because they do not have a mobile version.

When they already made the adjustments to satisfy users who play on mobile browsers, why do they need to create a mobile app? Between the two options, I don't think the user experience would be that different. It's seems like an unnecessary cost for the company (security, maintenance, and upgrades).

Mobile gaming is really my thing since I don't have a computer but it seems to me that I never experienced playing casinos through apps ever since I had my own mobile phone and up until I fully stopped gambling I never had that casino  apps because I play only on websites. I am also wondering why they don't create an app maybe because they are afraid it is vulnerable to modification and stuff.

There are marketplace policies that restrict from listing any gambling apps in the Play Store and app store so the users has to download from other sources which they will find not secured so investing a lump sum for little users doesn't add up when we see it as business.

And also people prefer the web on bigger screen than apps.

downloading on mobile from the web and not from play store and app store can be dangerous and a hassle so not many players i think would have wanted to play through a casino if it meant having to download it like that

but if the casino developers feel that there would not be enough players for the mobile version then all the hassle and money involved for listing their app in play store or app store then they might think that mobile version is not worth it

it would be easier to navigate through of course since the monitor is big but also the experience will be a lot smoother since pcs are more tolerant to gaming graphics and heavy workload than mobile phones

Mobile app is a major challenge that most gambling operators don't keep in mind not develop to that extent because there is less demand for it, secondly the play stores don't support for most of the gamblings we have, so they may not allow for their apps to be listed on their platforms, except we use the apk.file format to install any of the intended app provided they are on the website to download.

Sometimes we can never really answer these questions unless we are in the management team of the casino, and then we would understand why their focus is not really on creating a mobile application; whatever answers that will give will just be speculations about what could be the possible reasons.

They are definitely casinos with applications, but the vast majority of casinos do not have one, and a reason could be that they do not consider it as something important or necessary.

there is a similar thread about this in btt and they are saying sportsbet,io do have an app. i'm just not a fan of that betting platform but i did crate an account there, i deposited some coins for awhile but has not withdrawn any at all.

i'd like to use it one day but i'm for now comfortable in using browser. more people for now are using browsers. maybe they don't want to submit apk to playstore. as far as i know the devs in playstore are going to check the codes of the apk.

No, Google doesn't check the source codes, rather they analyse the behaviour of the app and see if it's collecting any information that is not supposed to do. But as I said each country has different laws so if one country the gambling is allowed and in another it's banned or restricted so they maybe available to download for very limited people even if it is available on Play Store.
