I think Bitcoin may continue to decline for the next few weeks or months, considering the drop that occurred last week. The decline last week already went below the previous lowest point, so there is a possibility that Bitcoin will drop again and go even lower than last week's lowest point. For me, holding a small amount of Bitcoin, like $100–$500, is no longer worth it compared to what you get in return—especially if you have to wait two to three years.

Having $100–$500 in capital could be better allocated to other coins like BNB or SOL. In my opinion, those are more worthwhile to try.

As it is evident when there is no negative news in the market the price of BTC rises because of decrease in uncertainty. You are right in stating that risks can occur unpredictably. However, no one can predict the occurrence of drama or a piece of bad news that will destabilize the market. Indeed, hold in USDT is safe and might be a good plan to wait for a better period, especially when you feel that the crypto market is not in the right place; however, this choice also means missing out on additional profits if the crypto market remains bullish. In this case, it would be wiser to shun the more risky investments though these tend to have higher returns.
