Be careful with them because many have become scam. Even if it is genuine, the amount of your effort exerted on it might just be a waste of time if the distribution of token is done and the value you've got isn't a lot. And at times, the devs are power tripping and gives disqualification to many including the noncheaters.

There is always different side about it because not only on the scamming part of it but also on the less rewarding aspects of it, like you said people will do a lot of work for them but the reward cannot buy a single thing. What you said is exactly what a lot of those mining platform has started doing later on after first few has conducted there mining and was successful, the new ones started deploying the strategy of screening people out from getting paid and I noticed that those with huge number of their tokens are the ones they usually target.

Even a monkey would know that mining on a mobile device is impossible, you need massive computational power. So if anyone claims to be mining on mobile, they are obviously lying or doesn't know how this technology works! Anyway, It is just a marketing strategy to lure customers!

Anyone claiming to be mining using a mobile device is talking bullshit (is this word allowed in the forum?). Mining requires massive hash power, which cannot be obtained with a mobile chipset. It would literally fry the chip if anyone theoretically tried to mine on a mobile device as the CPU would need to consume massive electricity which is not possible.

People who usually talk about Android mining or mobile mining are referring to nothing but cloud mining.

Not really.
Mining is not only about CPU, for example most of the mining was done with GPU in mind, and going from there the first test of an ASIC-resistant algo was more favorable to RAM requirements.
So with that in mind, yes you could mine Monero with a smartphone, CryptoNight is defined to be a low as possible of a CPU load hog, so in theory a coin that would use such an algo would definitely be possible to be mined with a smartphone, it won;t even drain your battery overnight but te problem is that the overall reward for such coins is so low it makes no sense mining it with anything, monero rewrdds in the last 24h were 100k compared to 50 million for BTC.

Having the project team getting to burn as much as they could doesn't really guarantee them the best airdrop project or something. Telegram airdrops are now as much as you could invest on them with the amount of Telegram Stars or TON transactions of which is supposed to be of effort and Play to Earn.... Again back to the beginning, if you are willing to take the risk, do it.. if not ready, leave.. unfortunately when many leave, people start to think that the less enthusiasts, it means more prizes are obtained from the prize pool... and in the end the project is crowded again by many airdrop participants... It's like a never-ending loop, even some communities start to form whatsapp groups containing airdrop hunters... they only focus on airdrops, and always update about good opportunities, so the airdrop market will continue to exist even though what is paid to participants is worthless coins....

Telegram is becoming a very central place now, considering some of its features are better than whatsapp... especially to bring more people, telegram is able to work better as a platform to accommodate more people.

To be honest, Telegram mining is no longer what it used to be. People used to mine with Telegram bots with the same enthusiasm, but now they don't even do 10% of it. Because the early coins paid a good amount. Currently, out of almost 100% of projects, 90% of them are scams. They achieve their goal with us and disappear. I myself used to spend time on Telegram bots, but over time, I gave it up because I didn't get the expected results.
