While it is possible to set up a “hot node” in which the masternode stores the 20,000 VITAE collateral, it is more secure and safer to set up a “cold node” in which themasternode runs on a VPS (Virtual Private Server) and the coins stay local in your Windows/Linux wallet. See how to set it up:
