Wallet for cryptocurrency MetaMask blocked popular decentralized app on Ethereum called "333ETH".

333ETH promises" lifetime "payments of ether (ETH) to investors' wallets through smart contracts in exchange for a down payment. The latest in a series of popular Ethereum decentralized applications (DApps) to attract fraudulent charges, it is currently considered the most popular on the DAppRadar monitoring site.

In comments on Twitter, MetaMask States that acting in the interests of users, the 333ETH app has been blocked because it is an "active Scam". MetaMask explains:

This site was never the most popular Dapp, and it was actively engaged in phishing. We will add the ability to skip our block this page, we do not tell people what sites they can visit, but this site is an active Scam.

This year's most popular Dapps have been products like Fomo3D and PoWH 3D, which have openly acknowledged that they do not present financially sound investment opportunities. Fomo3D, for example, describes itself as "an ironic blow in the ICO space that puts each participant in a terrifying and enticing position to enter the Scam or get Ethereum tokens."

According to DappRadar, 333ETH currently contains more than 7'000 ETH ($ 1.58 million) in its smart contract.
