That the office of the New York State Attorney General (NY AG) has published a report announcing referrals of three major crypto currency exchanges to the US Department of Financial Services (DFS) for potential violations of state cryptocurrency regulations.

Is this news an issue, FUD, or is it a fact, and does this also affect the current market situation?

It doesn't really matter honestly.. like New York as a state entity has no control other than in the state of New York.  Another issue is they talk about algo bots being allowed to trade on exchanges.. guess what.. these absolutely exist if not more so in Forex and Nasdaq markets.. the whole article is just stupid in general... its a well-known thing that exchanges allow their employees to trade (look at the bitcoin cash accusation with coinbase... or the bitfinex tether printing.. or the bitmex accusations that they trade against peoples stop loss information)... people need to grow a pair if they're gonna get into crypto... its function for a long time without any regulation at all... and the idea that one state in one country is going to change all of that is just a ridiculous notion.
