There should be OP. If not discovered yet, then it's just waiting out there to be uncovered by someone. Blockchain is still unperfect with flaws like someone can just steal ones funds if private keys has been stolen. There will be a time when nobody can steal ones funds. That would attract more people to join the new system as they will no longer get FUD.

So far, I don't see yet about the technology that can compete blockchain system, moreover with the developed concept with different ideas in each coin. Well, blockchain technology is difficult to manipulate, it is advanced technology, and cannot be changed.
