Is rebranding of Bitcoin the solution?

Bitcoin has already been rebranded in order to improve certain features like the transaction speed, transaction cost, insufficient transaction capacity etc. However, non of those rebranded form is still performing more than the original Bitcoin. This shows that the problem is not with rebranding of Bitcoin. Bitcoin has got an intrinsic feature of growing on its own because it seized the opportunity of being the first cryptocurrency and built a strong and supportive community. With time, Bitcoin will emerge out to be greater than what was witnessed in December, 2017.

Rebranding could resolve minor problems but couldn't solve the whole aspect which is the major one.  New but old will create another issues to resolve because in every new creation there will rise new disadvantage in fact it is possible that the cycle will repeat again.

In my opinion, re-branding won't be the solution for the future of bitcoin. It seems to bring no big impacts, instead leads to more deep reduction in price. The core problem is how to make people to believe in the performance of bitcoin and its continuity. We need good issue related to this point.

Solution to what exactly? Solution to the decline in value? Rebranding has solved some important issues with bitcoin already. If regulation was as lax as before, the rebranding could have instantly increase the price. Sadly, there are other factors that affect its value.

Bitcoin does not need to be rebranded because rebranding it will take us away from the original. Bitcoin is still yet to be accepted by the mainstream society and any rebranding will make it look like an altcoin.
