Hackers demands Bitcoins for leaked informations about 9/11 attacks

Some of you guys probably have already heard about it: a hacker group called The Dark Overlord has announced that they've successfully attacked government's database containing confidential data concerning 9/11 attacks. They demanding Bitcoins in exchange of not revealing this informations (whole case on an article on spam blocked b)
You think those guys are serious? What could possibly be in that data?

I think that only network admins can be sure if there was or not a data leak.
If it's real I think data are going to be disclosed soon, because even if USA is going to pay, someone will keep a copy and spread in internet contents once there will be the occasion.

I don't know whether The Dark Overlord really has that data, but what I know is that there is something the government is hiding, I often see on the internet that the incident is an insider's own job, whether or not we really know, we don't know.
