Is forex becoming outdated?

Someone made reference to forex trading as learning to drive a manual car in a time when there are automatic cars that you can drive. The analogy is not quite accurate, but I get that they are trying to mean that Forex trading is almost becoming outdated with the new crypto trading. Do you agree that forex trading is becoming outdated?

I don't have any exact numbers but forex is still big market probably even bigger than the crypto because the people involved in forex is a lot higher in numbers so the corresponding liquidity will also be higher. But I get that crypto is lot more lucrative because of the volatility still we can't convince the old school people to switch here so it will take a decade at least for the next generation people to overtake the market.

Such analogy doesn't have any clear understanding except the person actually detailed out the reason that made him to say so. If you think that forex is outdated, let them think again because that's a false believe, as a matter of fact, a lot of people are into forex trading despite that not all of them is making profit but there are many people that are still learning so intensely that they may became profitable traders.  When I first learned about trading, it was was even though forex I had the basic knowledge of trading and some strategies but I have chosen to base my trading on cryptocurrency and not forex again.

I used to think Forex is the answer to make money quickly after I tried so many money making method online which I have tried doing it as well because it seem easy to follow the trading systems shared by traders online.

The popularity of crypto most likely decreases the amount of newbies going to forex market because of the existence of crypto which is an alternative. And the fact that even just holding BTC can be profitable, then BTC is more attractive.

Forex being outdated, is just an analogy but new market came and people leave the old markets.

Forex trading is not becoming outdated in my opinion and for those that see it as such have not just find their way out of it to make them profitable yet. I was thinking they will come up with another option as alternative to forex trading but I see crypto trading as another type of forex trading that when you learn one of them you can be profitable in them. Forex trading is not outdated but I see it as something people are rushing to now, people came to know of it lately now, so more people are rushing into it now than before.

because crypto already have the futures market which is the same as the forex market, it becomes more exciting for those who are in forex market to come in and join the party.

we are still playing with currencies though so its almost the same as forex but no session to follow where market stops because crypto is 247. but its a wrong to compare it to manual and automatic. you don't become an expert driver with automatic cars. since you don't get to shift gears manually.

Nahh, to me Forex is becoming much more familiar with a lot of young people these days. The rate at which we are having many young people transforming their lives now through forex trading is surprisingly good. Back then when Forex trading was still less popular, we didn't have good mentor to watch or learn from and this anspiring Forex traders couldn't get the right knowledge and would end up giving up.  Now with so many good profitable traders online, you can easily access their mentorships and with continuous practice in time you would see a good result.
