I agree with you, just choosing a number of projects that have potential and not being greedy is the key to success. But the problem now is that it will be very difficult to choose projects that have the potential and distinguish them from scam projects, because to be honest I see they have almost no difference.

Taking a research before joining is a key to get legit and trusted bounty. It is too risky if we just participate in a bounty without know well the bounty and the project. I guess no one wants to waste time to join scam projects. So, to avoid it, doing research is a must.

This is very difficult to do, because even rating agencies sometimes make mistakes or knowingly give falsely high ratings to the project.
Fundraising can be faked, advisors and team-buy...from this unfortunately no one is immune.

By seeing the market condition  now,  I think It is difficult.  Because  too  many  bounty program  is scam and failed.

Unfortunately, it is very difficult to choose a bounty campaign that is able to bring profit to its participants, since among a multitude of projects only a small part is of high quality.
