i am keeping but i need money so i need to sell off those that are not that valuable. there are tokens that are for short trade and has nothing to offer. i prefer to looose such ones. this does not even efffect the market change. with the current situation of the market liquidity. it is uncertain when the market will make a major bounce back. we can only predict and hope for better bull market.

If you are looking for long term then I must say that right now is good to buy before we reach all time high in 2021. I agree that the greater the number of different altcoins from promising projects collected in your portfolio, the higher the likelihood that you will have a good profit. In today's current situation and even more than a year already, i think the trend has not changing anymore,only the bitcoin has showing some significant amount of improvements when it comes to its price comparing to the most altcoins in the market. it means that the market has not been improve comparing to its previous highs during the 2017-2018 market cap and price rally! Btw its already 2020 im hoping that the market will improve soon.

Market volatility is very common in crypto space. Just buy some if you have spare money because i believe that it will rise again parabolic when bull run comes but  research first the project you want to invest with because I know only few of them will rise during bull run.
