Now, like any game I'm sure it gets tougher as you level up but according to what I had been playing it was too simple and I believe I was about level 15 before I got hit once. You will find daily quests (I hate daily quests) and the assignment board is simply underwhelming. It's your typical enter the map and then kill 12 things, for a good majority of Phantasy Star Online 2 perform. You might have fun, I do not understand but it feels like a game and I was really let down by the quality of Phantasy Star Online 2. Like a new name / nostalgia cash grab than a provider into building an excellent game, really investing.

Games evolve through the years, When it came out it required waaaaaay longer than a couple of hours to get to level 27. And combat is lackluster? I don't believe you recall PSO 1&2. This activity combat is a massive step not only that you get a ton of PAs to go along with weapons.

Yeah you have to control the camera in a way. It's definitely not perfect, but the challenge does not just come from these weird troubles. When I play a game for 1-2 hours and I barely believed that there is any risk of dying, then I typically will put it down rather than play it again (though I have about 200 hours on PSO2 since I stuck with it due to the 1000s of hours I install PSO1). Where another poster came from so I completely understand.

I discuss Paynstar's opinion, I played it a long time ago and Phantasy Star Online 2 appeared EXTREMELY simple, as the spouse says was to enter a zone and kill the enemy or boss who played fast and easily and already. I'm also disappointed in the planet, in the time of PSO 1 I could know it, but at the sequel I expected big locations and world to explore and Phantasy Star Online 2 doesn't have it.But I played with it some time ago and that I hoped that with time it'd change....but I see that it is still the same and it is a pity because I was looking for another game to play which was fun and demanding (besides FFXI) and I see this is not and that I really liked its own aesthetics.

I was only able to endure a few weeks. Phantasy Star Online 2 appears to have been created as a social network that is tiny and a game second. It never materialized into anything fulfilling to me. You might want to check out monster hunter planet, or the new poe league is starting up in a few weeks. They are not mmo's in the traditional sense, but they are thoroughly enjoying in my book. Monster hunter has offered graphics, and is amazingly fun to take down enormous beasts along with your weapon of choice. Poe is endless in content, and should you ever get tired of the playstyle of your character, you can rerole to another stronger character. You can just wait until the league, if the league doesn't suit you.

PSO2 is much more of a gear-treadmill type of game with brand new things completely outclassing old things and it generally has de facto"Best-in-slot" type of weapons for every class. Granted, it's a lot more forgiving than other games in that you can normally make due with far less, but it still leads to homogeneity in equipment and the reduction of collectability and novelty that came with weapons in PSO.The upgrade process is... annoying at best, terrible at worst however. Grinding is not as bad as it was is nowhere near as bad as what PSU pulled, but it is still obnoxious, tedious, and expensive, especially in contrast to how simple it had been in PSO. I do not even like it as a concept, personally, but it is so incredibly convoluted and can be extremely expensive (particularly for min-maxers) that using the equipment treadmill being something, yeah... Screw that.
